The original Punjabi Dhaba is here to stay! Tony, the amazing chef and his loyal team have remained solid working together for nearly 10 years, since their first restaurant opened in Feb 2015 on the corner of Poplar Rd, Kings Heath, Birmingham.

This was a huge success up to March 2022, when it was time to move on. Takeaways continued flying out, delivered by the same loyal taxi driver Bernard, when the team moved to Warwick Rd, Acocks Green, for a 6-month period between April and September 2022.

Wanting to get closer to their home roots, they base themselves in Moseley on Billesley Lane, from October 2022 to August 2024. Many old customers found their way back home, at the same time a larger clientele was established, with many new customers having discovered Birmingham’s finest Indian cuisine.

September 2024 to November 2024 was a short stopgap on the Pershore Rd, Stirchley until finally, back home now on the bottom of the High Street in Kings Heath, opposite the Police Station, where they intend remaining for many years to come.

To all of our old loyal customers, we can’t wait to serve you again, your favourite high-quality dishes, for those new to the Punjabi Dhaba, our menu meets everybody’s taste buds, especially for vegans and vegetarians along with all of the classic dishes. We trust you will find your experience and food as good as, if not better than your expectations.

From the heart of our food to your mouths
